Stay Ahead with Essential Employment Law Updates
For HR professionals in the UK, staying up-to-date with employment law developments is essential. Keeping pace with the ever-changing legal landscape can be challenging, but thanks to our online event in partnership with international law firm Eversheds Sutherland, HR professionals can stay informed and up to date. On November 20th, over 12oo HR professionals nationwide will participate in an Employment Law Update. The event will be led by two experts in Employment Law, Chloe Themistocleous and James England, who will share insights and updates on key legal developments for HR professionals to take note of.
Chloe Themistocleous is a Principal Associate, specialising in Employment Law. Chloe has a strong litigation practice and regularly represents businesses in the Employment Tribunal at both Preliminary and Final Hearings all over the United Kingdom. Chloe also has extensive experience negotiating the settlement of tribunal claims and also represents clients at judicial mediation. Her in-depth knowledge of the complexities of employment law made her an ideal speaker for this event.
James England is a Senior Associate in Eversheds Sutherland’s Employment, Labor and Pensions Practice Group. James has experience in conducting Employment Tribunal litigation including unfair dismissal, trade union detriment, whistleblowing and discrimination claims. In addition to his contentious practice, James also advises on issues relating to changes to terms and conditions of employment, service agreements, absence/performance management, settlement agreements and disciplinary and grievance procedures.
The event is to be held online, making it possible for attendees to tune in from across the UK. This delivery mode means we can reach larger numbers of HR professionals than traditional, in-person events. The interactive format of the event allows attendees to ask the presenters questions directly, creating an engaging and informative experience.
With over 1200 attendees registered so far, it’s clear that HR professionals in the UK are taking advantage of the benefits of online learning and networking.
