Ashley Kate bring Easter cheer to hospice patients
Ashley Kate have brought Easter cheer to adults suffering from life-limiting illnesses in Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.
Our teams appealed to clients to ‘Be a Good Egg’ and to donate chocolate eggs as part of our first Easter Egg Appeal.
In all we collected over 30 eggs in the run up to Easter, which we donated to Treetops Hospice Care – a charity dedicated to providing nursing care and emotional support for adults and their families. The appeal was part of a wider campaign ran by Nicholas Associates Group which saw nearly 1800 Easter eggs delivered to local charities throughout the UK.
Jacqui Wall, Head of HR Recruitment for the Midlands and North, said “Everyone was delighted with the response from clients, it was a great success for our first appeal and we’re really grateful to everyone who got involved.”
Amanda Underhill, Head of HR Recruitment for the South Region, added “Part of the reason for the success of this campaign was the charity that we had chosen to donate the eggs to.
She said “We picked Treetops Hospice because they organise and hold a lot of events for all the family, including an Easter Egg hunt this weekend! When we turned up with the eggs the staff were overwhelmed and grateful for the generosity of our clients”
